Artist's Comments
There is something wonderfully human about the desire to modify clean surfaces. Rock art is found almost everywhere in the world (preservation permitting) and graffiti is an ever-present part of our urban lives. This impulse, this urge to make our mark on the world, is part of what makes us human and connects us all.
I took this picture of a brick wall and drew a Lascaux inspired horse on it using Pixia. I'm still learning with the program, so I know it's not great, but I wanted to get the idea down. I <3 anthropology! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
